June Newsletter 2022

By July 1, 2022July 12th, 2024, Upcoming Events
Dear Friends and Partners,
It’s been an incredible school year. Now that the 2021/2022 school year is out, our organization takes a bit of a “break” from our day-to-day work with children to regroup, clean up, and plan. It’s always bittersweet, but there is always lots of activity in the center! We’ve had a heavy-duty June already and we aren’t going to let that stop us! Our staff has worked tirelessly to ensure we honor the beautiful space we have been graced with since September 2021. I want to express a special thanks to Monse Zamora who has been with us in the thick of revamping our look, running our Academic Enrichment programming, taking photos, updating social media, and being an overall blessing. She has demonstrated such a level of commitment to ensuring we look good. The transformation of our space has been a lot of work and we truly appreciate the beautiful touches Monse has contributed! Students and volunteers loved working with her this school year. Her handiwork is seen here in our latest Impact Report. Please take a read, enjoy the pictures, and join us as we head into summer camp season 2022! Every year families and children anticipate a great time of learning during the summer. This year, we join together for VBS with our partners Calvary Church of San Mateo, and the Salvation Army. We welcome volunteers to continue to work with children and will make our center available for you to join us Monday-Thursday! Please let us know if you have any questions or just want to join in the fun! We are looking forward to seeing you!
Blessings and gratitude,

Happy Fathers Day!

We are grateful to all who love our students and send a special shout-out to the dads in our community. We love you and celebrate you this weekend!

On Father’s Day, Angie spoke at Sequoia Church in Redwood City at @10:45. All were inspired and encouraged as she shared in a film series about the movie I Am Sam. Take a listen to her last message on the Last Supper at Sequoia in April.

We’d love to see you this month!

There are many opportunities for you to support our students and be a part of events:
